‘Living without you’ is her redemption, salvation and in music terms her long waited comeback track.
Tulisa goes in full diva on this number saying goodbye temporarily at least to her NDUBZ grime roots.
In one scene in the video she’s seen in a leopard print two piece, dancing in the middle of four of her male back up dancers oozing confidence and a new found power.
In the scene mentioned above she definitely lives up to her self titled female boss moniker.
Remember Tulisa is just 26, she’s a young women who has been through it already. She reflects somewhat with lyrics ‘Living like a ghost, wishing for an antidote.” And” I don’t know my place”.
I’m feeling her new direction. I get the sense that she’s grown up a great deal in the public eye. She certainly exudes a certain strength if this video is anything to go by.
The video is simple an effective utilising the glamorous mansion house pool setting with only Fazer from N-Dubz making a fleeting appearance at the beginning.
The track has an organic feel which gets your head nodding. Vocally I don’t think she’s been more definitive putting her soul into this one.
