Christopher RÆBURN AW18 – IMMERSE

A designer with an ethos of sustainability and re/up-cycling deeply embedded in it’s brand DNA, Christopher RÆBURN immerses us this season in a collection inspired by our world’s oceans and seas, as he continues to innovate and redefine streetwear.

The collection opened with a neutral colour palette, highlights of yellow and muted graphic prints REMADE from Russian Naval Blankets. Which then progressed into bright orange tones juxtaposed against blues and greys and bird motifs. There was a heavy focus on warm outerwear and accessories, such as a bag up-cycled from an original RAF helicopter emergency pack.

Gender neutral clothing has been a reoccurring theme this season at London Fashion Week Men’s, Autumn/Winter 18. With female models on the runway, and unisex garments on display, the Christopher RÆBURN show was no exception.
