This latest track from the prolific 22 year old will be his fourth release on Island Def Jam and Naas Music Publishing, following on from his three massive hits ‘Just Friends’, ‘M.I.A’ and ‘What They Say’. We chat to Naas about all things music, dream collabs and Hollywood parents.
Q. So to KICK it all off who is Karim Naas in three words only?
Creative – fun – curious

Q. Who did you grow up listening to and what are you listening to right now?
I grew up listening to a lot of pop-rock bands such as Fall Out Boy or Panic! at the disco, and by learning the guitar I really wanted to be able to play their songs. Then I discovered rap music and I started to make beats on my computer. In 2013, electro music was huge – E.g Martin Garrix – Animals – and I was inspired by that music genre and really started to focus on making my own tracks. Right now, I’m listening to many artists, and at the moment Oklou.
Q. Who would be your dream collaboration?
M.I.A – I really love this artist and what she embodies.
Q. Tell us about ‘Feel Alone’ how did it come about?
I’m super excited that my new single ‘Feel Alone’ is now out! One of the biggest influences that led to its creation was my most recent trip to the UK, which enabled me to get even more acquainted with house music. I wanted to create a song that immediately gives you a big smile and the urge to dance!
Q. We have a few easy questions for you now- Pick two Celebrities to be your parents- Who?
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie – to me, the fact that they chose to have and adopt children from around the world is amazing and sends a fantastic message about how wonderful diversity is.
Q. Rate yourself(s) on a scale of 1-10?
8 as I think there’s always place for improvement and growth.
Q. Who is your style icon?
Kanye West – he is super creative and he is able to predict and set up the next fashion trends.
Q. If Hollywood made a movie about your life who would you like to see play the lead role as you?
Rami Malek (actor) – I really enjoyed Bohemian Rapsody and I am sure Rami would be great at acting as a producer and DJ.
Q.If You could trade places with another person for a week- famous or non famous/living or dead / real or fictional who would it be?
Thomas Pesquet (astronaut) – one of my dreams is to go to space.
Q. Where can we find you (YouTube/insta/ TikTok etc.)
I am very active on Social, you can follow me on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and Twitter.

Q.Any gigs/events planned for this / next year?
I do not have any gigs or events planned yet, but you can expect more music and more content! And some surprises too!
