5. QASIMI
Quasimi is a London-based contemporary menswear label that draws inspirations from socio-political issues, architecture as well as contemporary art; offering garments for men who seek an attitude within the conventional clothing.
4. John Lawrence Sullivan
Founder and designer, Arashi Yanagawa did not train as a fashion designer, but initially as a professional boxer. His creativity and love for designing clothing guided him to become a fashion designer in 2003. It was then that Arashi founded his own brand, John Lawrence Sullivan.
Using his background in boxing, Arashi chose the name ‘John Lawrence Sullivan’ to pay homage to a man that embodied traits of strength, personality, dignity and never shied away from a challenge.
These beautiful creations have a certain magnetism that originate from the concept of a masculine image, an image that is simultaneously powerful and elegant.
3.DANIEL w. FLETCHER
DANIEL w. FLETCHER is a London-based contemporary menswear brand, established in 2015 after Daniel Fletcher graduated from Central Saint Martins.
Originally from the North West of England, Daniel moved to London to study and gained experience at Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Burberry and Lanvin before starting his brand.
Daniel produces deeply personal collections that explore his thoughts on current affairs and social issues, with a focus on casual luxury each collection combines timeless shapes and new fabrics and motifs. Spring Summer 19 will mark the brands first runway show.
2.Liam Hodges
British born, London based, Liam Hodges has interest in ‘an expressive, polysyllabic masculinity’. His brand has been labeled a luxury brand for the mad and bad ones who are desirous of everything and those who foresake conformity everyday not just at the weekend. Signature Liam Hodges means wide silhouettes, patch working, hard wearing workwear and sportswear; influences drawn from modern male subcultures, English paganism, Hip-Hop skatewear, UK streetwear and Post-Punk.
Liam Hodges has won the support of titles including: Another Man, Dazed & Confused, i-D, Interview, VMAN, GQ Style, Vogue Japan, WGSN, Vogue Italia, Hypebeast, Complex, SHOWstudio, Novembre, The Guardian and Sang Bleu and his designs have been worn by the likes of Drake, P.Diddy, FKA Twigs, Danny Brown and Big Sean.
1.Christopher Ræburn
Christopher Ræburn is a British fashion designer with a unique and innovative approach to creating menswear, womenswear, and accessories collections.
A graduate of London’s prestigious Royal College of Art, Christopher became known for his re-appropriation of military fabrics and in particular for iconic outerwear created from de-commissioned parachutes.
The ‘Re-made’ ethos still guides and influences every aspect of the Christopher Ræburn design and development process; a Christopher Ræburn product is defined by distinctive aesthetic, meticulous detail, considered functionality, and sustainable intelligence.
