Dubzy

Dubzy

Aged 24, hailing from Derby although he lived in Edmonton for long periods of his life. This cat has been rapping since he was 13. With a firm handle on the craft of free styling Dubzy already had his bars floating around his mind. A few tweaks here and there he was able to make his verses more relevant to the RBTC by including Red Bull Studios and Z-Dot .

On hearing the news he was in his own words ‘gassed and over the moon’. He went onto say ‘’I’m very confident in my ability but being selected from nearly 50 people is humbling experience ‘’.

Dubzy already has a brand called ‘Snazz’ and him and his team have supplied headwear for the likes on drinks producer KA.

With SBTV & grm daily already been graced by the man, looks like anything is possible for Dubzy in 2016.

Snowy

Snowy

19, from Nottingham has really been on his grind for the last 5 years. This young MC has been influenced by the likes of Wiley, Dizzy & Skepta. Snowy told me had a few possible 16’s already in mind before he arrived but it was whilst practicing with other MC’s at the RB studios did he settle on his chosen 16.

Snowy remarked ‘’ I had no doubt I was going to be selected’’ now if that isn’t the confidence needed to succeed then I don’t know what is.

He sees himself on top of the game within 5 years when asked. . . This guy is not messing he really fancies himself and why not.

Mez

mez

The 18 year old Nottingham native has really taken his craft seriously over the last 3 years. Inspired mostly by Boy Better Now and various grime radio stations. Mez is more than nifty with his pen as he wrote his bars at the RB studios within a ridiculous time (25 minutes).

Mez described ‘’feeling blessed” the moment he found out he’d been one of the 5 MC’s chosen by Zdot.

With appearances already on SBTV and countless YouTube videos floating in the ether he’s about to turn any doubters into believers.

Eyez

Based in Derby but with a strong South London ties having lived in Streatham, Balham & Brixton the 23 year old MC has quite a mixed heritage. At the early age of 13 he began to write lyrics heavily influenced by his older brother and grime Legends Kano & Getts. It was when he turned 20 that he really took grime music by the neck and started to shake up the game waves.

Featuring on grm Daily, SBTV and Link up TV shows his intent and passion for the music he clearly loves. I forgot to mention how he murdered fir in the booth and anybody who watched couldn’t help but be impressed.

On his journey from Derby to London he wrote his verses that would go on to get him chosen to feature on this classic Z-Dot production that will soon be heard by the masses.
