Chlöe Howl has just dropped her new EP Work. Chlöe also recently announced a special headline show taking place at Moth Club Wednesday 23rdJanuary 2019 with tickets on sale now. New EP Work out now, featuring title single Work and 23. Listen now
Featuring the sassy title track Work, and latest single 23, fans convey her penultimate moment of growth in her career as a songwriter.
Chlöe reveals her laid-back 90’s R&B sensibilities on new track Losing Sleep, and her penchant for hazy electro dream pop on Out of Luck.
Chlöe knew music was what she wanted to do from the age of ten, growing up in Berkshire on the hip-hop she’d hear blasting from her older sisters’ bedrooms and the New Order and The Smiths records her dad used to play in the car. Chlöe left school at the age of sixteen and scored a record deal with Columbia Records shortly after.
Howl spent the next three years writing and recording songs, doing studio time with the likes of Justin Parker, Joel Pott, Samuel Preston, EG White. Much anticipation for the young artist also brewed during this time; in 2014, Chlöe was nominated for BBC’s ‘Sound of’ poll alongside Sam Smith, FKA Twigs and Ella Eyre, and ‘Critics’ Choice’ at BRIT Awards. Chlöe Howl returned to music with her critically acclaimed single Magnetic in 2017 after a 3-year hiatus. Next single Do It Alone soon followed, leaving fans on the edge of their seats ready to sell out tickets for Chlöe’s show at The Pickle Factory, London later that year.
