FeiFei Cicada Interview: spring/summer 2017

We were lucky enough to grab some ‘me time’  with gracious fairytale inspired fashion Designer FeiFei Cicada at spring/summer 2017.

Against the backdrop of Londons South Kensington V & A Dome, Fei Fei Models slowly circled the floor with voluminous duchess satins and tulles emerging from behind silk velvet curtains. These pieces were draped into sumptuous romantic shapes and silhouettes, evoking memories of bygone stately eras of historical costume, whilst classical music played in the background.

Her collections were inspiring, titled Elapsed Dreams in the Reverie Palace, perfectly befitting the regal designs which would certainly be appropriate for any queen: Elizabethan-style full-length ball gowns with wide crinoline hems and oversized ruffle collars, in deep burgundy, rusted bronze, pewter and dove-wing champagne in satin and organza was the general theme.

This was one collection not to be missed! Thanks to PopPR we were able to get up close and personal with one of our fav designers!
