Elzinga’s identity is built on classical couture references that come from an Elvis Presley inspired Rock’n’Roll world. Channeling the simplifying gestures of the Flintstones and Pop Art’s splendid abstraction of the world around us, the pieces evoke the electricity of live performance, with exaggerated silhouettes and off-kilter graphic patterns veering on the uncanny.
