The sixth edition of Dreambeach has come to an end. Since the first edition, the festival has been growing in terms of popularity and line-up and nowadays we can say that it is the best festival in Spain. They are beginning an international expansion and it has been announced an extra edition next year in Chile. The producers said that they were proud of having the best line-up. They were not wrong! Over 155.000 “dreamers” have gathered in Villaricos for 5 days to see and hear among others, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, AxwellΛIngrosso, Alan Walker, Don Diablo, Timmy Trumpet and Solomun.
This year’s edition has had an impressive number of stages, 6, each one with its own music style such as EDM, underground, hip-hop and bass.
The first day began with the arrival of 25.000 people that stayed on the camping site. They were welcomed with a pool party, with its own stage, and a secondary stage where Maxima FM’s DJs were performing all night long.
The next day, Thursday, started with rap and hip-hop performances, like the ones of Natos&Waor, SFDK and Kase.O. After that, it was Don Diablo’s time, who gave us a stunning performance and left a very high standard, but this was not a problem to Timmy Trumpet and AxwellΛIngrosso, that surpassed it with ease thanks to their amazing performances that made the crowd go crazy until 8 am.
On Friday, Alan Walker arrived (30 minutes late, but he arrived) and he performed his most famous songs such as Faded, Sing me to sleep, and Alone. Later that night, the show that everybody was waiting for: Martin Garrix, The world’s best DJ, did an impressive performance where he played, among others, his new song “High on life”. An unforgettable night for all 60.000 “dreamers” that were in the mainstage.
Eventually, the last big day came. This day was marked by Hardwell’s performance, who made the crowd jump and scream despite the fact that their voices were lost after the intense days they had been living. This show closed with lots of spectacular fireworks that blew the crowd’s minds. But of course, this was not the only performance of the night, KSHMR came right after. We will always remember the wonderful spectacle he gave us, playing songs like Power.
When the sun came out, Vini Vici delighted us with their amazing songs and style, that made the people jump and scream. They were not even tired and it was 7:30 am!
These DJs are only a small part of the entire line-up. There are others just as important that performed all festival long like Virtual Riot, Richie Hawtin, Tale of Us, Amelie Lens and Maceo Plex.
On the last day of the festival, everybody was exhausted, but some brave ones were still dancing in the pool party while most of the people were packing and collecting the tents, ready to go, but hoping time passes quickly, so they can be here again next year. We will see each other soon for sure, Dreambeach!
