Congrats to DaBaby achieving his second #1 Album on the Billboard Top 200, with his April 17th release of Blame It on Baby.
The listeners have spoken and after just six days, DaBaby takes the reign’s from The Weeknd; whose album After Hours led the top spot for four straight weeks. This is the artist’s third release in 13 months, which is unheard of. Even more, his previous album Kirk also reached #1, recently dropping in September 2019. Looks like the coronavirus isn’t slowing the superstar from releasing new music but it might have been the inspiration for his Blame It on Baby album cover.
With the quarantine placing a halt on all music video production, DaBaby was inspired to take it old school for his single off the album, titled “Rockstar”. On April 21st, he uploaded some visual creativity to his IGTV; a self-filmed video of him performing with a guitar, riding around in a Lamborghini. Appropriate for the hit song, featuring RoddyRicch.
