We are whisked back to 1970s London, a tense time in respect to civil rights in the country. Marcus (Babou Ceesay) and Jas (Frieda Pinto) are driven towards political radicalism due to the injustice and prejudice that’s frequented amongst the black and brown citizens of the UK on a daily basis.
They soon grab the attention of a secret counter intelligence unit inside the special Branch. Officer Nicholas Pence and his deputy are hot on the heels of Marcus and Jas, which makes for heart pumping cat and mouse socially focused drama which tugs on the heart strings.
