New Music Friday: Travis Scott, Juice WRLD, Charli XCX, YUNG BLUD & More

This week’s round up of new music brings a collaborative duo by Travis Scott & Kid Cudi, a posthumous single by Juice WRLD, and an upbeat pop song by YUNG BLUD, to start.

1. THE SCOTTS: the self-titled single is the first collaboration between Travis Scott & Kid Cudi (who’s real name is Scott Mescudi). Hours before the official release, more than 12 million fans watched Travis Scott’s virtual concert on gaming platform Fortnite, which showcased new music and his previous hits.

4. Juice WRLD Righteous: a posthumous single, with a full album expected in the future.

A statement was released by his family, via his instagram:

“Juice was a prolific artist who dedicated his life to making music. Choosing how to share his upcoming music with the world was no easy feat. Honoring the love Juice felt for his fans while shining a light on his talents and his spirit are the most important parts of this process for us.”

On April 22nd, Juice WRLD’s mother launched the Live Free 999 Fund, honoring her late son by helping struggling youth. The fund will support programs that compassionately and successfully address addiction, anxiety, and depression.

5. Alicia Keys – Good Job: a track that celebrates all health care and key workers during their heroic battle against the coronavirus.

6. Charli XCX Claws: a single from the upcoming, DIY-community-focused album titled ‘HOW I’M FEELING NOW‘, recorded whilst in self-isolation at home.
