Oasis Festival: These are Moments we live for – here’s why

They call Marrakshis the bahja.. the joyous ones and Oasis did not disappoint. In a city famed for its serious approach to partying the festival held its own at a tranquil resort out post on the city limits.

The party vibe felt small and intimate yet with an inclusive attitude which made the celebration just as much for the Maceo Plex hardcore down the front as the French and Moroccan parents playing cards and drinking mint tea nonchalantly in the yoga retreat.

Upbeat sets from Haai, Young Marco and Mike Servito put the crowd firmly in the zone on the Friday opening  the gates for the newly crowned gods of techno Charlotte de Witte and Daniel Avery to deliver two monster sets, the exuberant applause of the crowd watching on from the Atlas Terrace.

Elsewhere, the diverse line up was sophisticatedly curated producing a bounty of great performances from the likes of Dolan Bergin B2B Move D, Marcellus Pittman Kornel Kovacs and Auntie Flo.

So as the star-filled night cleared with the promise of a new morning over Jackmasters final set B2B with Axel Boman the curtain fell on this years festivities and pretty much the entire festival season but a near perfect way to end it.

Can’t wait to see what Oasis’ next move will be! We will see you next year
