The Daily Front Row hosted the 13th annual ceremony at New York’s Rainbow Room on 11 September. The 2026 Fashion Media Awards brought fashion, entertainment and celebrity culture together during New York Fashion Week. The Daily Front Row hosted its 13th annual ceremony at the Rainbow Room on 11 September, welcoming more than 300 guests.
Hosted by comedian Matteo Lane, the evening celebrated figures shaping fashion, media and culture. Honourees included Jordyn Woods, Twiggy Lawson, Jordan Roth, Kai Schreiber, Bethann Hardison, Wisdom Kaye, Jenna Lyons and Vogue’s Chloe Malle.
Among the arrivals captured by Distract were Jordyn Woods and her sister Jodie Woods. Jordyn made an entrance in a dramatic grey fur coat layered over a shimmering fitted dress. Jodie contrasted her sister’s textured look with a black cut-out dress featuring an off-the-shoulder neckline.
The ceremony presented Jordyn with its ‘Fashion Game Changer’ award. Introducing her sister on stage, Jodie praised Jordyn’s vision and the success of her Woods by Jordyn brand. Jordyn later reflected on how she found her own voice by moving beyond the pressure to fit in and using fashion to tell her evolving story.

Naomi Watts also attended the ceremony in support of her 17-year-old daughter, Kai Schreiber. Watts wore a taupe pleated longline top with structured shoulders and a high neckline. A wide rose-pink sash defined the waist, while slim grey trousers completed the look.
Kai received the ‘Breakthrough Model of the Year’ award and described the moment as “surreal”. She also acknowledged the transgender models who helped pave the way before her. The milestone made Kai the first transgender recipient of the award. She attended in a lime-green Valentino mini dress.
British fashion icon Twiggy Lawson stepped out in a vivid pink trouser suit before accepting the ‘Style Icon’ award. She reflected on her long-standing connection with New York, describing the city as her home away from home.
Iman delivered another memorable colour moment. The supermodel paired a vivid purple blazer and matching trousers with a simple black top. A sculptural yellow panel wrapped asymmetrically around the waist and hip, creating a bold contrast against the purple tailoring.
Iman also helped honour Bethann Hardison with the ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award. She celebrated Hardison’s work advocating for Black models and creatives long before diversity became an industry talking point.
Broadway producer and fashion personality Jordan Roth delivered one of the evening’s most theatrical looks in a sculptural red ensemble. Roth received the Fashion Innovator award and attended alongside actor Evan Rachel Wood, who chose a streamlined black look.
Faith Ward also appeared on the red carpet in an all-black ensemble. She layered an oversized tailored blazer over a satin cowl-neck midi dress, finishing the look with a high ponytail, pointed pumps and a compact red clutch.
The 2026 Fashion Media Awards guest list reflected the event’s position at the intersection of style and popular culture. Established icons appeared alongside actors, creators and a new generation of fashion personalities, capturing the breadth of voices influencing the industry today.
