Spring has arrived with blooming flowers and longer days filled with sunshine, freeing everyone from Winter layers and dreaming of exquisite travel destinations. This is exactly what Cynthia Rowley’s ready-to-wear, S/S 2020 line invites us to do. Inspired by the Dr. Seuss classic, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, the whimsical collection brings out the essence of Spring and Summer. It’s an eccentric mixture of flowing metallic silk pants to punchy pastel dresses; inclusive of colorful micro-floral prints. Additionally showcasing the runway, was swimwear made from recycled plastic bottles. Paired with tall, striped raffia hats, they are the perfect outfit for the resort or beach.
For cozier days, Rowley designed rich, earth-toned oversized sweaters with bold embroidered graphics, two-toned silk pants and bell sleeved dresses, to keep fashionistas chic and comfortable throughout the warmer days.
Looking towards the upcoming Fall and Winter seasons, Rowley created this collection (pictured below), envisioning people feeling happy, while wearing her clothing. She expanded on her signature floral theme by layering wool plaid patterns, 70’s inspired prints and pops of solid, bright colors.
The wardrobe also introduces her sustainable outerwear fashion line, which includes faux fur and vegan suede. Both collections successfully mix unexpected patterns, colors and fabrics together. Style goers are sure to feel exuberant and unique, while sporting garments and accessories from either of these lines.
