The Rated awards is a brand new music award ceremony celebrating the best of British urban music. This awards show is to recognise the best talent that the UK Urban Music scene has to offer. The show saw performances from grime Music heros such as Kano, Ghetts, Fekky and Bonkaz.
Host Stephen Stallone went backstage to get the goss from Daj Jordan (Violinist) who opened the show with a mashup of the most legendary Grime tracks.

Daj was followed by Section Boyz, W TRN, Little Simz, Ghetts and Bonkaz who all went on to impress the 900 strong audience.
Little Simz
Nominees, rising spoken word artist Amber Rose and young rapper Hardy Caprio also gave us the low down. These two were up for K A Get Rated Award, an artist competition run by KA & GRM Daily offering entrants the opportunity to ‘Get Seen, Get Heard and Get Rated
They lost out to Jevon who took home the award on the night. But look out for them as they will be huge next year.
Bonkaz
The winner of the K A Get Rated Award was Jevon. This award is in relation to the ‘Get Rated’ artist competition run by KA & GRM Daily this year. It offered entrants the opportunity to ‘Get Seen, Get Heard and Get Rated.
A surprise performance from Giggs went down a storm, before Kano closed the awards performing a selection of career spanning tracks, with a little help from Ghetts.
Winners on the night were Krept & Konan who won Best Project for The Long Way Home, Bugzy Malone who won Best Breakthrough, and Skepta won Best Track for 2015 anthem Shutdown, and the coveted Artist of the Year.

Other winners include Diztortion who won Producer of the Year, Big Narstie for Personality of the Year, Stormzy won with Know Me From for Best Video, and 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth took away the prize for Best DJ
Legendary grime MC Kano won the industry voted GRM Legacy Award, recognised for his contribution to urban music over the past decade.
