Independent Deep House/Dance music Producer JEH has been producing for a few years now, drawing inspiration from the likes of Tchami, Meduza, Coldplay, MK. The Mumbai DJ chats to us exclusively in our one on one Q&A lockdown sessions.
1. Describe your sound in 3 words…
Dark fresh groovy
2. Tell us about your new single ‘Don’t Wait..
It’s my own take on a new wave of deep/future house. I wanted to keep the production minimal so I could really capture the vibe, hopefully it’ll shake up the dance floor when clubs re-open.
3. Who are your biggest influences & why?
Coldplay is my favourite band/artist of all time, I’m literally obsessed with them. The things their songs make you feel are literally indescribable. I love them and try to put as much feeling into my music as well.
Marc Kinchen and Meduza are my other favourites. I love how they paved their own way in house music and absolutely changed the genre forever. All their songs are always instant classics.
4. How did you get to where you are now in your career?
Hard work. I’m literally working on music till 2 or 3 am every night. That being said I’m not in any position to advise anyone else! I’m only just starting out and have a long journey ahead of me.
5. If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be & why?
I think right now, Zohara for sure! Her voice is mesmerising and she’s an amazing songwriter. Zohara if you’re reading this, message me please 🙂
6. Besides music, what are you passionate about?
A lot of things: Football, art, movies, hanging out with friends, to name a few. I’m a massive Chelsea Fan. I also play football often with my friends, it helps me clear my mind.
7. How has the pandemic/Covid-19 impacted you creatively?
Honestly, it hasn’t impacted me creatively that much. If anything it’s had a positive impact. I’ve been able to really devote time to developing my craft and re-defining my sound.
8. What’s one thing you can’t leave the house/hotel without?
I can’t leave without putting on cologne. I have an obsession with smelling good.

10. What’s next for Jeh ?
I’ve got a lot of releases lined up for 2021. Most recently, my next track, ‘Wherever You Want’ releases on December 11th! So please pre-save it (I have attached the pre-save link below)
