Love Lies Bleeding is a 2024 romantic thriller film directed by Rose Glass from a screenplay she co-wrote with Weronika Tofilska, and starring Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian, Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco, and Ed Harris

Lou (Kristen Stewart) is a reclusive gym manager who falls hard for Jackie (Katy O’Brian), an ambitious bodybuilder who’s heading to Las Vegas to pursue her dream. Their love soon leads to violence as they get pulled deep into the web of Lou’s criminal family. Set in 1989, it chronicles the relationship between a reclusive gym manager with a crime family and an ambitious bodybuilder.

Our fav new director-cinematographer duo, Rose Glass and Ben Fordesman, breakdown the influences, images, and storm-filled skies that make “Love Lies Bleeding” so electric and so heightened.

This Film is one to watch, a stylish, slow-burning story with some great performances.

We loved everything from the intimacy between the characters, down to the cinematography.

It’s a Must See!
