Jackson Wiederhoeft’s designs have adorned prominent figures such as Rihanna, Aquaria, Lil’ Kim, Rita Ora, Julia Fox, Solange,Tessa Thompson, Nicola Coughlan Lady Gaga and so many more! This is a designer we have been watching for years and finally were able to get an exclusive on-camera interview after the show. Needless to say, this was a huge honor for us!
Jackson Wiederhoeft, a Parsons School of Design graduate, earned the title of “Women’s Designer of the Year” in 2016 for their thesis collection, “The Dollies.” Following this, they spent three years designing for Thom Browne, with a focus on women’s runway collections.
Wiederhoeft surprised the audience with his spring collection at the La Mama Experimental Theatre Club in the East Village. The show began discreetly, with models in various peach and pink Wiederhoeft dresses and separates quietly taking their seats in the midst of a semi-circle of chairs on stage. The subtlety of the entrance was easy to overlook, particularly with many attendees already dressed in full Wiederhoeft looks. Watch now!
